Seven Sisters Apostolate
Our Catholic priests give us access to the means of our salvation, the sacraments. We cannot adequately thank them for their gift of self to this ministry. However, we can try!
We in the Office for the New Evangelization would like to invite all Catholic women of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to consider starting or being part of a Seven Sisters prayer team for a specific priest.
What is the Seven Sisters Apostolate?
The Seven Sisters Apostolate supports individual priests through the offering of Holy Hours for each day of the week. There are seven women on a Seven Sisters team who each commit to a different day of the week on which she will offer a Holy Hour for a specific priest, offering a seamless week of Holy Hours for him. The commitment is for one year and can be renewed.
Which priest should we offer this to?
Each Seven Sisters team supports one specific priest. You can start a Seven Sisters team for your pastor, parochial vicar, chaplain, spiritual director or any priest who has been a gift in your life. We are also in need of prayerful women who would like to start a Seven Sisters team for our priests in special ministry, such as our Auxiliary Bishops, the Vicar for Clergy, the Vicar General, etc… If you would like to volunteer for this service, please click here.
